		Sophie and Andy Sophie, marketing manager, and Andy, a dentist, met almost 3 years ago at a Flirt Party. Their eyes met across a crowded room and guess what? They were married last year and now have a beautiful little daughter named Matilda!


	Joanna and Jonathan Now this is what you call a whirlwind romance! Joanna, Doctor, and Jonathan, Dentist, met in the May at a wine tasting event. They were engaged 2 months later in the July and married the following January on board the SS Great Britain! And to add to their happiness, along came baby Harry 3 weeks ago!




Craig and Julie met at Eligiball What drew them together? Craig's kilt! Julie says "Nothing looks more sexy than a man in a kilt and Craig certainly knows how to wear it! I couldn't have considered him wearing anything else to our wedding". Craig says "I went along to the Ball with a couple of friends and didn't really expect anything much other than to have a bit of fun. I went home with my wife-to-be!"

Jude and John

Jude, HR director, and John, IT Consultant, met at Eligiball.

Jude says "I had been to several Swerve events and always had a great time, but Eligiball was definitely the turning point in my life! The ball was such a lot of fun and after a few glasses of wine I was ready to hit the dance floor - where I literally bumped into John!

John says "I went to the event on my own and although it was slightly daunting walking into a room full of strangers, the atmosphere was terrific and it didn't take me long to get into the swing of things."

Jude and John are now happily settled in their farmhouse in Wales.



	Paul and Jane Paul, Fraud Investigator, and Jane, Management Consultant, first met at Eligiball. They subsequently met at another of Swerve’s events and are making plans to sail off into the sunset together … their application to emigrate to Australia is currently being reviewed! "I'm glad I let myself get talked into going along to the events because not only did I meet Jane, but we have also made several friends through Swerve".



			Sam and James Sam, Chemical Engineer, and James, Banker, met at a Black Tie Dinner at Clifton College. Sam says "I was terrified when I attended my first event. In fact Jane found me cowering behind a wheelie bin outside the restaurant trying to call a taxi to take me straight back home! Jane is a fantastic, fun hostess and makes everyone feel at ease. I really enjoyed all the events that I attended and met some lovely people on the way".


	Gary and Naomi Gary, IT Trainer, and Naomi, PA, met at Eligiball. Gary recently booked a champagne balloon flight with Naomi and as they were heading up for the clouds, Gary’s friend Mark laid out a sheet on the field below on which Gary had painted “Naomi, will you marry me?”. Luckily for Gary, Naomi said “Yes”!
